Ja'kreen, King

Ja'kreen was the 4th King of D'ni. He took the throne in 555 DE at the age of 80, and died of natural causes in 812 DE at the age of 337. It was at his instigation and during his reign that the D'ni built a duplicate of the Arch of Kings (later renamed Kerath's Arch) which had been on Garternay.

Jamen

A D'ni author who wrote "How They Came: A Detailed Look at what started the Mee-Dis War" in 7201 DE. (King Yableshan Monument Book)

Jaren

A Guild district in D'ni where Atrus' grandfather and his family had lived. (BoD 31)

Jaysem, Master

Jaysem was a Guild Master of the Guild of Healers who played a significant role in finding the cure to a terrible plague during the reigns of Kings Behnashiren and Hemelin.

Jenir

Aitrus' friend, fellow guildsman, and crew member of the same excavator during the original expedition to the surface. (BoT 11)

Jenniran

A cadet in the Guild of Miners when D'ni fell. (BoD 96)

Jerahl, Master

Ships cook on one of the excavators during the expedition to the surface of Earth. Jerahl had been apprenticed to the Guild of Surveyors and was a skilled geologist, but found himself better suited to be a chef. So he changed his profession, apparently becoming a Master in the Guild of Caterers. He was chosen for the expedition because of his extensive background in geology. (BoT 6)

Jevasi

A great D'ni scholar who claimed that the wall of the great cavern of D'ni was so riddled with tunnels, secret tunnels, and passages that if any more were to be cut, the whole great edifice would cave in upon itself. (BoA 109)

Jiladis

A guildsman of the Guild of Ink-Makers. He met Aitrus on the Age where the Council had gone to discuss and plan after the terrible destruction of D'ni. He returned to D'ni with Aitrus, but we don't at this time know what happened to him after that. (BoT 298-9)

Jimel, Master

Master of the Guild of Linguists (BoT 135)

Jura, Master

Master Jura of the Guild of Healers. He was in attendance upon the infant Gehn, but was thrown out of the house by Anna after he expressed grossly racist views about her son, indicating that he was not interested in treating or saving his life, and that Gehn would be "better off dead." (BoT 208-9)

J'Taeri District

A Guild District in D'ni. The houses were elaborate and individual in their design. The Common Library was in this district. (BoA 112, 113)
